The Hexagonal thinking card deck an course is an initiative of Suzanne Lustenhouwer. Suzanne Lustenhouwer is an teacher of English and EdTech consultant based in Amsterdam. In her lessons and workshops Suzanne often used hexagonal thinking strategies. In 2016 she handmade 3000 reusable cards by painting hexagonal cards over with whiteboard paint for an event with fifty teachers. After being repeatedly asked in workshops if they were for sale and not finding a ready made solution online she decided to take matters into her own hands.
